Our flight was smooth from Seattle to Paris and we actually arrived about an hour early! Many of us enjoyed the movie "Crazy Rich Asians" on the plane. It took a few minutes to figure out how to get from the airport to our hotel in the heart of Paris. We had breakfast at the hotel and then headed out for a walk near the Seine. Our first stop was Sainte-Chapelle, a beautiful example of Gothic architecture. The church was actually built by King Louis IX to house his collection of Passion relics, including the crown of thorns Jesus wore during crucifixion.
