A LESSON AT THE LOUVRE

We started the morning at the Louvre with our first student led art lesson. Today it was about Mona Lisa, the most famous piece of art in the world. It was really cool learning about a piece of art and then walking over and seeing it. Looking at the Mona Lisa was an event in itself as tourists clamored to get selfies with the painting. I couldn't help but wonder what Da Vinci would think if he saw the spectacle. We also saw one of Michelangelo's major works, The Rebellious Slave shown in the third photo. One of the most impressive features of the Louvre were the ceilings in each of the rooms.
