We started our last full day in Athens by going to the famous National Archeology Museum. Before we went in several students tried to catch a pigeon, to no avail. The museum was very interesting and full of important history. For lunch we had falafel as a tribute to the lost Jordan part of the trip. Some commented that it was the best meal to date. After a little free time we took a little hike to the base of Mount Lycabettus. From there we took the funicular up the mountain for sunset. We finished the day at a nice restaurant where one of our adventurous students tried snails for the first time. Tomorrow we leave for Italy. Parents should know that I am unable to check my work email and should instead contact me at brianscannell@gmail.com.
